Liam was born October 1st 1998 in Gympie, Queensland. He grew up playing a wide range of sports. He did his first trial class with a friend at the age of 19 at Terra Luta BJJ. He trained under his coach Rex Carney for 5 years competing in local and international competitions along with making regular trips down to Cia Paulista HQ to train with Carlos Viera and prepare for state and national competitions. |  |
In November of 2022 Liam moved down to Melbourne to Coach at the new CPA affiliate in Baccus Marsh (Art Of Training). Liam Received his Black Belt from Rex Carney and Carlos Viera on October 15th 2023 after 5 years and 10 months of training. Liam is still an active competitor about to begin his first year of competition as a Black Belt.
